Dr. Kymberley Stewart grew up in Vancouver, BC, and completed her honours degree in Animal Welfare at the University of British Columbia in 2000. She then was accepted to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan, and spent four years enjoying the prairie winters while learning the art of small animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Stewart is a member of the College of Veterinarians of Ontario, the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association and the Hamilton Academy of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Stewart is particularly interested in palliative care.
Dr. Stewart was married in 2004, and moved to Ontario when her husband William was transferred to RBC's Bay street head office. Together, they have three beautiful daughters: Bridget (2007) and twins Kennedy and Taylor (2009). Their extended family includes Emma the yellow Labrador, and their three tabbies Asparagus, Sprocket, and Zachary (adopted from Burlington Human Society spring 2009). Outside of practice, Dr. Stewart is a performing musician and previous winner of C95.3 Radio's Rising Star competition. She also loves hunter/jumper riding, and candid photography.
