Dr. Danika Neumann has been part of the Bay Cities Animal Hospital team since July 2010. Dr. Neumann received her Bachelors of Science with a minor in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Guelph before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC). Dr. Neumann was a very active member of the Global Vets program during her time at OVC, participating in volunteer veterinary projects throughout Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Prior to working at Bay Cities Animal Hospital, Dr. Neumann spent two years practicing small animal medicine in downtown Toronto. Her professional interests include dermatology, animal behaviour, and internal medicine. She is a member of the College of Veterinarians of Ontario, the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association and the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association.
When Dr. Neumann is not at Bay Cities Animal Hospital, she enjoys spending time with her husband Sean, their daughter Roisin who was born in December of 2011, and their fury family: Jameson, a Newfoundlander, and their cat Seamus O'. She also enjoys snowboarding and wine tasting.
