Dr. Danika Neumann has been part of the Bay Cities Animal Hospital team since July 2010. Dr. Neumann received her Bachelors of Science with a minor in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Guelph before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC). Dr. Neumann was a very active member of the Global Vets program during her time at OVC, participating in volunteer veterinary projects throughout Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Prior to working at Bay Cities Animal Hospital, Dr. Neumann spent two years practicing small animal medicine in downtown Toronto. Her professional interests include dermatology, ophthalmology, and internal medicine. She is a member of the College of Veterinarians of Ontario, the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association and the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association.
When Dr. Neumann is not at Bay Cities Animal Hospital, she enjoys spending time with her husband Sean, their young children (daughter Roisin and son Tiarnan), and their furry family: Jameson, a Newfoundlander, and their orange cat Seamus O'. She also enjoys chocolate, snowboarding and wine tasting.
